Cut-throat Filmmaker Tyler Maddox Simms Gets Cussed Out By Vivica Fox For Inadequate Working Conditions

When you’re shady and tacky in your business dealings, and have a history of trying to mess over people, it’s just a matter of time before someone comes along and put you in your place.

For cut-throat filmmaker, Tyler Maddox Simms, that moment came on Monday, September 16, 2013, on the set of the stage play A Christmas Wedding, which starred Hollywood diva Vivica A. Fox, Hawthorne “Big Red” James, and Miguel Nunez.

The taping was scheduled for 8:00 am, on a hot and hazy day in Hollywood, California.  The humidity was unbearable, and actors were sweating like Hebrew slaves.”

Instead of making the necessary adjustments to improve working conditions, the frugal minded Tyler continued to shoot scenes.  One veteran actor/comedian said it was one of the “tackiest” sets he’s ever worked on.

It all culminated when Vivica took the stage and became visibly bothered by the intense humidity.

Vivica looked at Tyler and went into a tirade, shouting in a shrilling voice: “Is this a fucking joke or what?  This is some fucking bullshit!!!  I’m fucking melting in this bitch!! If y’all don’t get me some goddamn air, I’m walking the fuck outta this bitch.  This is some tacky ass shit right here”

At that pointTyler assured Vivica that it’ll be taken care of right away.   Approximately an hour later, an air conditioner was set up and the theater was cool almost instantaneously, which is the way it should have been from the start.

This is the clearest example of Tyler’s tacky and miserly approach to the business.  She was willing to let her entire cast and crew suffer in heat, all for the sake of saving that extra dollar for herself.

Vivica’s anger was perfectly justified.  It shouldn’t have taken a diatribe by Vivica for Tyler to take care of something so essential to a production.

Tyler’s shabby practices as a filmmaker goes against the standards for work conditions set for by SAG-AFTRA, and it shows in the outcome of her subpar, bootleg movies.    – 30 –
