Chicago– Rev. Al Sampson is a Chicago jackleg preacher, who’s been exploiting the honorable name of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr for decades. According to Sampson, he is the only minister that Dr. King ever ordained. Through research and mere inquiries, we now know that is a blatant lie that has gone unchallenged for decades.
From a common sense standpoint, an ordination ceremony, officiated by a renown luminary such as Dr. King, would be considered a watershed moment for any young minister and at the very least, would warrant many attendees as well as a plethora of photos taken to commemorate the occasion.
Moreover, even if Sampson somehow forgot to acquire a photographer–which is quite dubious given his huge ego, one would assume Dr. King himself would’ve wanted his first and only ordination of a fellow minister captured in a photo. Hitherto, there’s not one photo or eye witnesses who has stepped forward to substantiate Sampson’s claim.
Of course, much has been said about Rev. Jesse Jackson’s claim of holding Dr. King in his arms while he was dying and having King’s blood on his shirt, but at least we can establish an actual connection between Jackson and King via photos and videos. But in Sampson’s case, there are no vestiges or proof whatsoever.
It’s amazing how a whore-mongering, nigger preacher, who never met a lie he didn’t like, could misrepresent Dr. King’s name for decades and have it go unscathed. Nevertheless, we all can find solace in knowing a lie can’t live forever,
